PM 51 was commissioned in 1977 and is a large special paper machine for lightweight newsprint, pink newsprint and yellow and white telephone directory paper. It accounts for almost 30% of paper production at Braviken.
The highly efficient PM 52, installed in 1985, produces newsprint. The pace of production at Braviken Paper Mill is high- each day each of the machines produce enough paper to stretch from Braviken to Gibraltar.
The standard of quality control is also high. Because production is highly automated and each stage is controlled by an advanced process computer system, we can guarantee that paper from Braviken maintains the consistent high standard of quality ours customers expect.
