FSC - Forest Stewardship Council
FSC stands for the Forest Stewardship Council and is an international forestry standard that works to ensure that the world’s forests are used in an acceptable way, environmentally, socially and financially. Around 10% of the world's forests are currently certified. For producers like Braviken and Hallsta, it is important that fibres in a FSC paper can be traced back along the production chain and that everyone involved in all of the stages follow the requirements set for the FSC label.
