The publishing market is undeniably a tough market, which can be confirmed with just a quick look at the past years’ development in circulation figures and print advertising. Digitalization, changed consumer behaviour and many other aspects have greatly altered the publishing landscape. Up until the 1990’s being a magazine publisher literally meant that you published printed magazines. But today the scope of a publisher can be much wider. The question is, are the publishers' changes radical enough?
